Bridge
A bridge is a structure built to span a physical obstacle, such as a body of water, valley, or road,
without closing the way underneath. It is constructed for the purpose of providing passage over
the obstacle, usually something that can be detrimental to cross otherwise.

Tunnel
A tunnel is an underground passageway, dug through the surrounding soil/earth/rock and
enclosed except for entrance and exit, commonly at each end.

Dam
A dam is a barrier that stops or restricts the flow of water or underground streams. Reservoirs
created by dams not only suppress floods but also provide water for activities such as irrigation,
human consumption, industrial use, aquaculture, and navigability.

Highway
A highway is any public or private road or other public way on land. It is used for major roads,
but also includes other public roads and public tracks: It is not an equivalent term to controlled-
access highway, or a translation for autobahn, autoroute, etc.

A skyscraper is a continuously habitable high-rise building that has over 40 floors and is taller
