Problem 1:
Draw the shear and moment diagrams for the beam.

Problem 2:
Draw a 2D Mohr’s circle from the stress element given below and determine (a) the principal stresses and
(b) the maximum in-plane shear stress and average normal stress. Draw the state of stress by using 2D
element for part (a) and (b).

Problem 3:
Determine the reactions at the supports, then draw the shear and moment diagrams. EI is constant.
