 This is Myself
I am Jackie Rowi Narciso Dilag, 18 years old, living in
Jalaud Norte, Zarraga, Iloilo. My mother is Winona
Dilag and my father is Rodrido Dilag. I have three
siblings and all of them are girls including me. We
have four pets in our house, two are dogs and 2 are
cats. My hobby is reading books, watching movies in
Netflix, listening to the music especially Taylor Swift’s
songs, surfing in the internet and chatting with my friends. I am also good at dancing but swear I
am a frustrated singer. I love to collect pussycats especially cat ears because I found them so cute
and whenever I see those in the stored I can’t help but buy them.

I am just a simple teenager. I am not pretty like those skinny girls. I am very talkative and
participative in class but sometimes I am a sleeper lol. I do have a lot of friends and a cute
boyfriend, kidding . I am not that tall, I have a color tan skin that is why they always tease me
that I am “negra” or “ati” “black” but I know to myself that I am not like that I am just TAN. I am
an consistent honor student but I think I will lose it this time hahahaha I hope will not.

My motto in life is “Time is Gold”, because I do believe that we should give importance to
all the things we have because they all have limitations or they don’t last longer so if there is a
opportunity to do such things, work it now don’t procrastinate things because it might be too
late. So we should always use our time correctly and don’t waste it.
The definition of community is all the people living in an area or a group or groups of people who share common
interests. It is a social unit (a group of living things) with commonality such as norms, religion, values, customs, or
identity. Communities may share a sense of place situated in a given geographical area or in virtual space through
communication platforms. Durable relations that extend beyond immediate genealogical ties also define a sense of
community, important to their identity, practice, and roles in social institutions such as family, home, work,
government, society, or humanity at large.

I, Jackie Rowi Dilag, dream to be a teacher in the future. I

think the children in our community and my famiy influence
me me to become a teacher in the future because if I will
become a teacher I can help the children in our community to
become a better person, teach them the right manners and
how to respect people around them. Also o become a role
model for them to strive hard and become a professional
someday. I can also help my family because I make them
proud of me and give them at least some money to buy
everything they need and they want.
This dream is very important because nowadays, there
are lots of children who forgets going to school because they
are all lazy. Some are skipping school because of playing in
the computer shops, gambling and doing other stuffs that
could harm their schooling so if I’ll become a teacher I will
help them and encourage them not to take the education for
granted because education is the most important thing today
because it is the key for everyone success. I will teach them
good manners and right conduct because as what we see for
today’s generation, many children are lacking of it. They
don’t know how to respect other people and act as if they are
more superior which is very very bad. They are getting worst
and worst as the time goes by. If I will become a teacher, I will
not just a teacher to them but I will become their adviser,
their mentor and their second mother.

After I finish my Senior High School, I

will proceed to college because I want to
become a teacher. I want to help children
and teach them. Also, I want stability and
I think becoming a teacher makes my life
stable. In addition, I can help my parents
and sisters to the expenses in our house
and if I’ll marry someday, I have a decent
job to sustain the needs of my own
family.
  Are you all united in the
community where you live? If yes,

Yes, we are all united in the community where I live in,

because in our community we are helping each other to make
our community clean and green. Our Brgy. Captain together
with her members are very particular and active in our
community. When there is celebration like Christmas, our
Brgy. Officials are giving gifts to the people in our community
especially to the children. They made a lot of games provided
with prizes so that every children have a smile on their faces
when they got home. Our community have unity and I think
it’s very important in each community.
 As a senior high school student,
why should you work in a
community?

As a senior high school student, I should work in the community

to help the people living there. Also to become a role model to the
children, to inspire them to become a helpful and citizen in our
community. Being a senior high school student, many look over you
as a helpful student. In this connection, you can help a lot of people
especially the children so as they grow up they become like you and
they will also become a role model to the children.

 What is meant by the statement

that a “society is a superorganic
system”.?

The socio-cultural level, culture or society, is carried by humans

and transcends human. A society has a “life of its own” which is
symbolic rather than genetic. In this way it is a living thing.

 As a student-animator, how do
you promote community
participation and development
in your own community? Justify
your answer.

As a student-animator, I can promote community participation and

development in my own community by participating in some
organization here with regards in helping our community to be
sustainable for example, joining tree planting activities,
volunteering in some events like feeding program to the children.
Gift giving to the parents and I will participate actively to help my
community.
