Sub: Providing one time opportunity to the students who have been admitted to undergraduate
degrees from the academic year 2001-02 to 2010-11 and students of the post-graduation
degrees from the academic year 2001-12 to 2012-13 who did not appeared and failed in
the examination-reg.

(3) Approval of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor dated 04.09.2019 and 07.11.2019

Pursuant to the approval of the decisions of the Academic Council and Board of Management
meetings cited at reference (1) and approval of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor cited at reference (3) ,
permission is hereby accorded to the students of Karnataka State Open University who have been
admitted to B.A/B.Com degree programmes from the academic years 2001-02 to 2010-11 and to
B.Lib.Sc, B.Ed (Spl), all Diplomas/Certificate Courses and students who have been admitted to Post-
Graduate programmes (Annual/Semester) viz M.A/M.Com/M.B.A/M.Ed/ M.Lib.Sc and all M.Sc
programmes and Post-graduate Diplomas from the academic years 2001-02 to 2012-13,who did not
appeared and failed in the examination, as one time measure.
It is proposed to conduct the examinations in respect of the above said programmes in the
Mysuru Center only.
 Examination fees will be accepted from -14.11.2019
 Fees will be accepted without fine till - 05.12.2019
 Last date with fine of Rs. 200/- -13.12.2019
There is no exemption of examination fees in respect of the students of the above mentioned
academic years.

Students are informed to remit the examination fees in any one of the nearest branch of
State Bank of India by using the challan attached to the examination application form and submit the
duly filled in examination application along with the original fee paid challan without separating it.
They are advised to mention correct Register number in the examination application.
Students are advised to submit the filled in examination application forms to the Registrar
(Evaluation), Karnataka State Open University, Mukthagangothri, Mysuru-570006 in person or by
registered post/courier service.
Examination applications will be received only till 04.01.2020
Students to please note
1. Examination fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted against subsequent examination fees.
2. Students should write the answers in accordance with syllabus and examination plan of the respective years to
which they belong.
3. Students may download their Examination Admission Tickets from the official website of th e University
www.ksoumysuru.ac.in two days earlier to commencement of the examination.

IMPORTANT
Students are prohibited to carry their Mobile phones inside the examination hall. Carrying Mobile phones inside
the examination hall will be considered as misconduct and action will be initiated against such students.
Special Instructions: Students should compulsorily bring the Admission tickets issued by the University to the
examination hall.
