AREA: RADIO
It is a place where the realization of a radio program takes place. In this booth, all sound
sources generated in a radio broadcast are controlled.
These are the elements that are used within a radio booth
TOOLS
MIXING TABLE:
Electronic device to which various audio emitting elements are connected
AMPLIFIER:
Used to expand the signal that comes from the center table and goes to the speaker
TUNER:
It is essential to be able to capture the actual emission in the control study itself.
AUDIO CONSOLES:
A sound console is an electronic device to which various audio emitting elements are
connected, such as microphones, line inputs, samplers, synthesizers, gira vinyl discs, cd
players, tape players, etc.
EQUIPMENT
MICROPHONE:
they are devices that allow to transform the energy of the voice into electrical energy
maintaining the proportionality between the sound picked up and the output electrical
voltage, for example wireless microphone, clip –on microphone, hand microphone
DISK PLAYER:
It is easy to use and because of its good quality when playing the audios containing the
compact discs
HEADPHONES:
They are used so that broadcasters and interviewees can hear the broadcast directly
without the danger of distortions when the microphones are open

SPEAKERS:
They are installed to be able to listen to what is generated through the mix table, either
direct sound or engraving.
FURNITURE
RADIO BOOTH:
It is the place where a radio program is carried out, whether broadcast live or recorded. In
this booth, all sound sources generated in a radio broadcast are controlled.
RADIO DESKTOP:
A table radio is a stand-alone radio receiver, used as an entertainment device. Most of
these types of receivers are limited to radio functions, although some carry USB port, a
built-in alarm clock radio, WiFi or satellite radio.
STAFF
Radio announcer:
An announcer is a communications professional. Its functions range from presenting
programs and narrating different texts, to being the voiceover of commercials; they also
include conducting events
Soundman:
Person in charge of listening to what the microphones pick up and thus adjusting them to
capture the sounds and dialogues that interest and avoid the presence of unwanted noises
or sounds.
