Summary of Strengths and Areas of Possible Growth

From the Teacher Leader Self-Assessment, I realize that my areas of strengths are in Domain 1: Fosters a Collaborative
Culture to Support Educator Development and Student Learning, Domain 6: Improves Outreach and Collaboration with
Families and Community, and Domain 7: Advocates for Student Learning and the Profession. The areas of possible growth are
in all Domains, but particularly in Domain 3: Promotes Professional Learning for Continuous Improvement. I believe I can
grow in this area by understanding better how to collaborate with colleagues and school administrators to plan professional
learning, use information about adult learning to respond to the diverse learning needs of colleagues, facilitate professional
learning, promote collaborative and differentiated professional learning, and work with colleagues to collect, analyze, and
disseminate data related to the quality of professional learning and its effect on teaching and student learning. From all of
these, I would really like to facilitate professional learning among my colleagues, and have experience giving an informative
PD opportunity to all about a particular topic of interest. I would really like to see what this is like.
