Key points:
Researchers reviews both local and foreign study in order to give a clearer
presentation of the investigations. In some cases, foreign studies may have some
biases in terms of cultural background of the respondents of the study, therefore,
there is a need to review local studies conducted on the same topic so that the
effects of the cultural differences may be ascertained.
Both local and foreign studies are normally reviewed on the chronological order
to establish the time-order progression of the topic. It should include existing
theories that can be used to explain the problem.

presentation that were conducted in various readings.
It should be presented in topical form, irrespective whether it is local or foreign
and necessarily in chronological order.

The researcher must write the review, organizing it and putting things together
in a way that will make sense to the reader. A well-organized review brings
together the necessary and relevant information on a single point or on similar
ideas and provides continuity among the results and conclusions of different
research reports.
Studies reviewed should be grouped according to categories that are unique and
provide a logical organization of the information. Thus, it should have a
synthesis at the end to summarize and emphasize its relevance to the present
investigations.
