REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

LOCAL STUDIES
THE MANAGEMENT IN OUR OWN HEADS
According to Limos that “metal straws are made from the production of
nickel mining’s in Palawan, 400-500 hectares of solid grounds are used for the
mining. The probation equally distinguish the average of disposal rate for metal
straws in five years was three percents while plastic straws averages one
hundred percent in five years”. That means in a year more plastics are being
thrown than metals. Base on the actuality itself metal straw smoothly trumps
plastic straw cause they diminish solid waste
Through these findings it can help us manage solid waste by the use of
metals instead of plastic straw. And since the factory’s produce slim amount of
plastic, will be benefiting the good ambiance of surrounding that may attract
countless of tourist entering our country. Management is a thing most people
can do, but through our own ignorance, we tend to see it as an easy action,
hence the thousands of waste being poured t our own riverbanks and streams,
with the information given to us, it can be seen that even though there is a simple
solution, people want the easy way out, we keep forcing ourselves to live this way
of ease when there can be hardships and long roads to do.
A QUICK RECAP AROUND THE YEARS
Angara said that “plastics are used everywhere, from packaging to carrying,
even in our own utilities, with heavy usage of the plastics since 1950, it is
calculated from around 9.2 billion tons, from that, the 6.3 tons are just plastic
garbage materials alone scattered in the environment”, most of those doings is
from us, instead of providing a healthy alternative in the environment we tend
to make a simple one hence the thousands of waste covering the world. Giving
the example, plastic straws are one of them, instead of taking a lid out or just
drinking in a cup as it is, people ask for a straw, the cycle grows, from getting
more straws to just throwing out when it has no use, it scatters itself harming
the marine and natural life the earth has to provide for us.

FOREIGN STUDIES
THE PLASTIC THAT SWIMS
Lowrey said that “the plastic straws are more suitable between 10
commonly items during oceanic preservations, international costal clean up every
year, in a single day of cleaning in 2018, volunteers around the globe gathered
approximately 3.6 for the beaches and water drainages, small and least plastic
easily around beaches or spill out of waste management control in the ocean seas,
consumers alone does not have the authority to decide the plastic issue epidemic
to the environment”, and plastic manufacturing is a big beneficial industry,
industrial change of this measurement for the profits of the earth will be hard
but absolutely needed.
Its not just the production of the plastic itself but it’s on how we use the
product, around 2018 is also the time where 5.6 millions of plastic were found
and more of it were the straws that was stuck in water ways, in order to stop
this, we must prepare ourselves and be aware abut what is happening around
the economic world we live in, because when the time comes, we don’t know
what is left of our own doings.
STORIES ARE A WASTE OF TIME
People say that plastic itself can either be burned and nor deteriorated to
its natural form, but it goes both ways as it can also deteriorate the environment
around us, Kitchenham B, Brereton OP, Budgen D, Turner M, Bailey J, Linkman
S. conducted an experiment where over many people have decided the fate of
plastic over the course of the years as it grows in our own ecosystem.
In this experiment, the many processes of stopping the continous grow of
plastic waste or waste in general is to recycle, incarcerate, deterioration, and
distribution into landfill, where some people also answered converting it to
reusable products, the extent of our own imagination, the alternatives provided
have their own limitations.
Even though in the end we have some solutions provided by the people,
there still needs to be an in depth analysis on how plastic waste can be
segregated to ease some things and it needs some heavy thinking to understand
a problem like management.
