1. The transfer orderwill be effective only iI the concemed Junior Engineer has fumished an
undertaking that he/she is willing to go on transfer to the particular region instead of any
specific place of posting in the region.
2. The contsolling Superintending Engineer is requested to ensure to obtain the undertaking
from the above mentioned funior Engineers (Civil & Elect.) and send a copy of the same to
the concemed DDG(HQ),Coordination Circle of the region where the Junior Engineers have
been transferred as well as to this Directorate within a period of 30 days from the date of
issue of this Office Order. In case, the lunior Engineer refuses to go to concerned regions of
transfer, he/she will be debarred for a period of two years for inter-regional transfer and
such cases rnay be reported to this Directorate.
3. AIter obtaining the requisite undertakin& the concemed Junior Engineers may be relieved
immediately with the directions to rePort to the concemed DDG(HQ), Coordination Circle
for further posting.
4. The Inter-regional trarsfer wilt be valid for 3 months only and the concemed contsolling
officer is directed to relieve him/her within that period.
5. The employee will not be entitled to claim TA/DA/loinng time in resPect of ioumey to be
performed by them;
6. The pay during the period of joumey for taking uP new assignment, unless the same is
covered by leave due and granted by t}re competent authority, cannot be claimed by the
employee seeking change of region.
