HASIL PEMBELAJARAN:
By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to:
1. State at least 7/13 correct answers based on the text
2. Communicate feelings about an opinions based on the topic.
PELAKSANAAN PENGAJARAN
Activity B
1. Teacher asks the students to read
silently the text “The Adventure of
the Mazarin Stone” and underline
unknown words at the same time.
2. Teacher asks the students if they
do not understand any words from
the text.
3. Students discuss with themselves
about the main idea or summary of
the text.
4. Teacher asks some comprehension
questions to students.
Activity C and D
1. Teacher gives each group Lollipop
Stick depends on the colours that
they get.
2. Teacher read the questions and if
the group want to answer, they
need to rise up they lollipop stick.
The faster they rise the lollipop
stick, the more question they can
get.
Activity C, teacher reads
the questions one by one.
Activity D, teacher pastes
strip of paper contains the
highlighted words in the
text.
3. Teacher writes down the marks of
each group on the whiteboard.
4. The group with the highest marks
get a reward.
Activity E
1. Teacher instructs students to be
find their own pairs.
2. Teacher asks them to read activity
E.
3. Teacher instructs the students to
discuss and give their opinions
based on the text.
4. Teacher picks random students to
present what they have discussed.
Activity B, C and D
2. Focus on a reading skill. Teacher emphasis on students’ comprehension
of the text and also the main idea of it. It is to familiarize them with a new
vocabulary.
Activity E
3. Focus on a speaking skill. Teacher asks students to choose their own pairs
and gives their opinions based on the questions in Activity E.
Penutup (5 minutes):
1. The teacher recaps what has been taught.
2. Teacher gives students homework.
3. Teacher asks one volunteer to repeat what they have learnt and give one last
reward to him/her.
Tugasan:
1. Teacher asks students to read and revise what is Past Simple and Past
Continuous.
