necessary hardware, software, licensing, installation,
configuration, and in-life service management as a
single package to ensure all parts of the solution
work together. Customers can select optional
features that provide greater protection and control
to suit their environment:
Intrusion Protection Service – inspects all
traffic for threats; looking into the data far more
deeply that a standard firewall.
Anti-Virus – looks at risky files being
downloaded to determine if they are carrying
malicious code.
URL Filtering – allows tighter control of access
to external web sites.
AntiBot – reduces the risk from compromised
devices by blocking communication to command
and control servers.
Application Control – inspects Applications for
embedded malware / malicious code.
Identity Awareness – allows policy to be defined
in terms of users or group rather than ip
addresses alone.
Threat Emulation – protects against zero-day
attacks by sandboxing unknown / suspicious
code.
Security Event Reporting – next generation
event review and reporting capabilities.
