As seen in the figure X, there is a presence of white-colored trigonal shape formations that are
scattered around the ore and using the petrographs presented above, there is an enough evidence
to conclude that the given ore sample to us is Hematite with gold traces because of the following
optical properties it possess; high reflectivity, internal reflection of reddish brown, presence of iron
formation [4], and physical characteristics include being fined-grained material, steel-gray crystals
and dull to bright “rust-red’ earthy color and being compact [3] ; and for the presence of gold the
following are the evidences; _________. The following evidence are discussed by Mohamed El
Shora, Wellsite Geologist of National Egyptian Drilling and Petroleum Services Company
(DASCO), on his Ore Microscopy book.
