I, Bucu, Ronalyn conducted my On the Job training at Quest Plus Conference Center, would
like to express my appreciation and deepest gratitude for giving their full support, guidance and
helped me with all they can, in making my On-The-Job training a fruitful and successful one

First and for all to my dearest family who gave me a full moral support and encouragement at the
course of our undertakings.

To my honorable professor who shared and continuously sharing their knowledge, for
preparing us students to be globally competitive and well equipped for our future career. Also
for molding us into a better individual by providing us enough training in our classrooms. My
warmest thanks to them for being an inspiration, and reminding us to always strive for the best
for us to reach our respective goals in life.

To the HR Deepartment, Ms. Mae Musni and Ms. . To the chefs, Mr Jean Our Executive Chef, Chef Pedro,
Chef Fernan, Chef Marj, Chef Gether. For sharing knowledge and Skills and giving me a chance to explore

chance to be part of your team and for this one of a kind experience in having my On-the-Job Training
which will be very useful for me in the near future, And most especially for helping me to hone my
knowledge as I continue to strive my goals in life

The Company and its operation

Strength

 Quest Plus Conference Center contains a lot of advantage, the fact that it is strategically
located at Clark Freeport zone which is the hub for leisure, entertainment and games in
Central Luzon and also a gateway for the transportation, education and tourism sectors,
the location is less prone to natural disaster because of its pre well-developed region.

 Quest Plus have the largest Golf Course in the whole Clark Freeport Zone, it has two
amazing courses to choose from and play in are the Acacia Lakeview Course and the
Mountainview Course which have a breath taking views and design by a renown and
respected Company.

 The Mequeni Live which serves Buffet from Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner which
pampered with the diverse selections of its luscious wide range cuisine of Asian,
Japanese, American, and Filipino, Desserts, and Beverages, it also has a live station that
guest can request for certain ingredients or recipe that would guarantee the satisfaction
among the guests.

 The Human Resource Management and Supervisors have the interest to teach its
trainees whom are also highly approachable, they gave the OJT’s Checklist of Learning
and Journal to be accomplished during the time of training that would significantly help
the Student in Hospitality Industry through Knowledge and Experiences in the Kitchen
and Trainees can practice its customer service skills since The Mequeni live have a live
station.

Weaknesses

 The Hotel is use to be US Air Force Bachelors Officers Quarters which why the facade
and Interior is worn and old but the lobby and the restaurant is clean and modern till
today it is under renovations.

 The shuttle ride is usually unreliable despite of their impressum as “Here at Quest Plus,
we define reliability.”, sometimes it is late or unable because of technicalities or
manpower. As for now the only available shuttle is a L300 that can’t accommodate the
number of employee going in or out which is a burden because instead you have to wait
for a Jeep for 20 to 30 minutes.
 The Lack of manpower is also a weak point, the Management prefer to get new staff
rather than making regularization to employees, which cause strain during operation in
peak times and sometimes rely on trainees.

Opportunities

 The Clark Freeport zone is expanding every year developing its sector that has led to
increase in demand and services for Leisure, Entertainment, Sports and Tourism,
therefore Quest Plus became the Official Hotel for the Sea Games Delegates, which
opened great opportunities for improvement of the hotel.

 They could Improve their Employee Benefits such as Higher Wages and a Reliable
Shuttle Services for the Convenience of the Employees and to decline the loss of
manpower.

 The Mimosa Golf Course is one of the best golf course in the Clark Freeport zone that
inspire Tourist to check in and have a membership therefore increasing hotel check-in’s
this can be a great opportunity for the company to increase the number of services
offered.

Threats

 Intense Competition among the Hotels are one of the biggest threats, due to the
opportunities offered in Clark Freeport Zone which increase new players in the Industry.

 New Trends such as the Airbnb or other similar online platform which people are
preferring accommodation in a Well-furnished guest houses over hotels

 The lack of Manpower would also affect the quality of the Services and Operation, such
as Employees can’t allocate tasks properly doing two man jobs therefore creating guest
Dissatisfaction or low quality service
