THE HUKM OF SALATUL JUMUAH IN DAR’UL KUFR

‫بسم هللا الرحمن الرحيم وصالة وسالم على سيدنا محمد ﷺ‬

(some of this article has been translated from an article in Arabic)

Salatul jumuah is of great importance in Islam, Rasulallah ‫ ﷺ‬stressed

the importance of this in several Hadith and warned against abandoning
it and this is shown by the reward from its performance as mentioned in
the divine sources.
But the Friday prayer is different from the other prayers, so it has its
conditions and pillars, and we should not treat it like the rest of the
prayers.
It is proven from the Sunnah that Friday prayers were imposed in Mecca
before the emigration. Friday prayer is not a sixth prayer, but rather a
fifth prayer performed on Friday in place of noon prayer.
Although Friday prayers were imposed in Mecca before the emigration,
Rasulallah ‫ ﷺ‬did not practice it with his companions in Mecca.
Meanwhile, Muslims in Medina prayed Salatul Jumuah on Friday with
the imamate of Musab bin Omair, may God be pleased with him, and by
order of Rasulallah .‫ﷺ‬
Rasulallah ‫ ﷺ‬and the Companions in Mecca did not pray Jumu'ah, even
though it was obligatory and they were praying noon (salatul dhuhr) on
Friday.
From this incident, the Scholars concluded conditions that were agreed
upon and differed on some of them.
One of the most important conditions that they agreed upon is that
Friday prayer cannot be performed at home. Because Rasulallah ,‫ﷺ‬was
able to perform it with the companions in the house of Al-Arqam Ibn
Abi Al-Arqam, may God be pleased with him, without being harmed,
but he did not perform it.
Likewise, one of the conditions agreed upon is that Muslims can meet in
a public place open to all Muslims to perform the prayer without fear of
any harm to them, As well as in a way that the Imam giving the Khutbah
can speak about what matters to the Muslims without being subjected to
any harm or be forced to speak with words Determined by the Taghoot
Ruler.
This is why Friday prayers are not obligatory for Muslims who live in a
country ruled by a Taghoot Ruler who rules without Sharia and does not
give Muslims complete freedom to speak about what matters to
Muslims, especially Tawheed and jihad.
It is clear for anyone who has eyes that can see and a mind that can think
that the rulers today in the Arab countries and the so-called Islamic
world do not rule by what Allah revealed, but rather rule by laws derived
from the French and English laws and other depraved forms of human
thoughts.
And yet they claim to be Muslims, and they deceive the people in their
lands by appointing scholars for them who they bestow honour upon and
give them high testimonies and titles in the Sharia to deceive the people.
Their role is to cement the thrones of the Taghoot rulers and the Taghoot
Rulers call them the imams of the Muslims when their only job is to
justify any kufr and shirk that these Tawagheet do.
This is the case in the Arab countries and the so-called Islamic countries.
It is only natural that these Taghoot rulers will not allow the Imam to
speak the truth in the Khutbah on the Minbar on Friday.
So in our reality in this day and age, the conditions for obligatory Friday
prayer are not available just as they were not available in Mecca before
the emigration.
That is why Muslims must pray the noon prayer (salatul dhuhr), which is
the original obligation in this case, as Rasulallah ‫ﷺ‬and the Companions
in Mecca did.
It is a big mistake to pray salatul jumuah on Friday in homes, in the
open, or in mosques under the rule of Tawagheet Mushrikeen, in which
they cannot show Tawheed and its obligations, and leave the noon
prayer (salatul dhuhr) which is the default obligation, because Rasulallah
‫ﷺ‬and the Companions did not do this when in Mecca when they didn't
have power and authority.
So the default obligation is to pray salatul dhuhr (noon) prayer, and
Friday prayer (Salatul Jumuah) only becomes obligation instead of
Salatul Dhuhr (noon) prayer when the conditions for Friday prayer are
met which in our reality are not. If these conditions are not met, Salatul
Dhuhr (noon) prayer is the obligatory prayer.
And it does not become Salatul Jumuah on Friday, exceptwhen the
Friday prayer is valid, according to consensus.
The imposition of Salatul Dhuhr (noon) is directed on the Muslims when
the time enters without conditions because it is obligatory for Muslims
for the same worship, and the imposition of Salatul Jumuah on Friday
depends on the condition which are agreed upon being met such as
freedom and power and Authority for the Muslims with Allah's word
being made the highest in the land.

It is permissible to perform Salatul Jumuah on Friday in place of the

noon (salatul dhuhr) prayer in Dar Ul Harb if Muslims are able to pray
them openly in complete freedom without suffering any harm, and this is
unfortunately not available in Dar ul Harb today, including Western
countries, for those who speak openly get arrested and put in jail or have
severe Restrictions placed on them.
This is why the conditions for Friday prayers today are not available,
and Muslims must pray Salatul Dhuhr on Friday until they meet their
conditions.
Whoever abandons the Dhuhr prayer, which is the default obligation,
and prays Friday prayers without fulfilling their conditions, he misses
the Dhuhr prayer.
This is what is imposed on the Muslims in the present day in our present
situation. Because performing Friday prayers without fulfilling their
conditions does not fulfill the duty of Salatul Dhuhr (noon) prayer on
Friday.
Those who say that Jumu'ah, like all prayers, are valid in any time and in
any place, regardless of the situation or reality of the world today, saying
it is against the Sharia and the sayings of the predecessors and the
successors. This view leads to the destruction of the wisdom of the
legislation in establishing Salatul Jumuah.
What testifies to this ruling and responds to those who violated it, is
what, in centuries past they used to talk about in the Khutbahs in the Eid
and Friday prayers. They used to talk about the affairs of the Muslims
and about Tawheed and Jihad, which if anyone was to deliver a khutbah
about anywhere in the world in our reality today would mean guaranteed
arrest, jail and even death.

Rasulallah ,‫ﷺ‬when he was among the Muslims of the suburbs who used
to travel to the masjid on Friday and on the Eid prayer, he told them if
the Friday prayer was valid for them in their homes and suburbs, he
would instruct them to do so and exempt them from going out, whether
on the day of Eid, which is on Friday or Friday, without the day of Eid.

So we see that throughout the history of Islam the role of the Jumuah
Khutbah was to propagate Islam and inspire the believers, it was a
mouthpiece of the khilafah, nowadays in our reality it is the opposite, the
Jumuah Khutbah is used to propagate kufr and shirk, telling people to
vote, inviting MP's and police to promote their baatil, it has become a
mouthpiece of the Taghoot and completely defeats the purpose of
Salatul Jumuah.

This is the first of many articles about this topic, in sha Allah the next
few articles will deal with what the classical ulama said about Salatul
Jumuah and why it is only valid in dar ul Islam and not in Dar Ul Kufr.
