THE DELIGHT AND DUTY OF GLORIFYING GOD

Psalm 100:1-5
INTRODUCTION: Let me cite the difference between Function and the Form. For example:
Worship, is the function. The form of worship may be varied. We can worship through singing.
We may sing hymns or gospel songs. We may worship by giving our offerings or by praying.
We may worship through listening to the preaching or to a teaching. Function is absolute and
stable; form is relative.
There are many words that tell of our responsibility to our God. Some of these words are glorify,
magnify, honor, worship, praise and thanksgiving. I would like to share to you the last three
words.
PROPOSITION: The believer of the Lord delights in glorifying God.
