Venation
The pattern in the arrangement of veins in the blade of a leaf is called as venation. Two types of
venation are reticulate venation and parallel venation. Reticulate venation involves a net-like
pattern of arrangement of veins. Most of the angiosperms with two cotyledons in the seed exhibit
reticulate venation.
