Objectives
This study aims to find out some possible solutions on how would the students
cope or overcome their low self-esteem in oral communication.

General Objectives:
To know the negative factors that affect the self-confidence of students in oral
communication.
Specific Objectives:
 To show the top 3 prevailing factors that affect the student’s self-confidence.
 To discover the impact of lack of self-confidence towards the students.
 To enlighten the students on how cope up with their self- confidence in oral
communication.

Statement of the Problem

1. How will you cope with to the situation of having lack of self-confidence
in oral communication?
2. What are the factor that contributes to having self-confidence in oral
communication?
3. Why students are afraid of speaking english in oral communictaion?
4. How lack ofself-confidencein oral communication affect the academic
performance of the students?
5. What will be the impact of lack of self-confidence in oral communication
to academic performances?

Respondents of the Study

The participants in this study are the selected Grdae 11 TVL-Culinary Student of
Olivarez College DPRO.

The participants consist of thirty five (35) TVL-Culinary Students. These student
have been chosen since they have the subject of Oral Communication.

These respondents are pressed on the issues concerning lack of self-confidence


and it effects to the students in Olivarez College.

Scope and Delimitation

The focus of this study are to know or determine the impact of lack of self-
confidence in Oral Communication of the students. The researchers use purposive
sampling technique because the target are the Grade 11 TVL Students in OC
DPRO. The researchers conduct this research here in Olivarez College area only
this January 2020
