NABL invites Applications for Empanelment as Assessors for Mechanical


Testing– Building Materials, Soil & Rock.
Interested persons working with Government and/ or Industry / Laboratories
[Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs)] having relevant domain expertise, excellent
Communication skills, and preferably knowledge of the Standard: ISO/IEC 17025:
2017, may send their CV in the prescribed NABL format (NABL 221 downloadable from
NABL website under Publications>NABL Documents) toamc@nabl.qcin.org. The specific
requirements of age, qualifications & experience are as under:

Age: For becoming NABL assessor, the age of the candidate should be 35-55 years.

Educational Qualifications: The minimum educational qualification requirements are a


Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology in Civil Engineering discipline.

Experience: The work experience requirement is a minimum of ten years in the relevant
field of testing, out of which 5 years at supervisory level and above. The candidate shall
have preferably undergone 4-days training course on Laboratory Quality Management
System (LQMS).

Desirable: A high degree of communication skills, both oral and written, is also considered
one of the important desirable traits in NABL assessors.
Selection Procedure: Shortlisted / Screened candidates will have to undergo training and
evaluation by NABL on the Accreditation Standard: ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Empanelment of
Assessors will be done after successfully undergoing NABL training and evaluation.
Please note mere submission of Bio Data / CV (NABL 221) does not ensure short listing
& subsequently entitle you to get empanelled with NABL.
