Be holy and without blame before him in love (Ephesians 1:4, Luke 1:75, Ex.19:6, 1 Peter
2:9)
Show forth the Glory of His Grace (Ephesians 1:6, Mathew 3:17, Romans 3:24)
2). When Saints are not walking in the knowledge of the hope of their calling by God. (Ephesians 1:18)
God has called us out this world, described as ‘darkness’ into his ‘marvellous light’ (1 Peter 2:9). Our
calling is salvation!
Why are we saved?
That we may serve Him (Exodus 8:1).
That we may Love Him (Deut. 11:12, Jos 23:1, Ro 15:30, 1Th 1:3, 2Th 3:5).
That we may become ONE with Him (Ephesians 1:10, 1 Cor.11:3). It is in the place of communion
that His passion becomes our passion.
Even though our service to God may start as an act of obligation, true revival begins when our service to
Him is from the place of Love (1 Samuel 15:22).
3). When Saints are not conscious and desirous of the exceedingly great power of God given to those
that believe. (Ephesians 1:19, 3:7, Col. 1:29, 2:12).
Revival tarries when we fail to acknowledge that we are beneficiaries of God’s plan by Salvation through
Christ Jesus that we may receive the hope of our calling and manifest His Glory and power.
How do we position our heart for revival?
1). Accepting the word of God with Humility (James 1:21, Romans 1:16,1Peter 1:9)
2). Praying for the establishment of God’s will and the manifestation of His power (Acts 6:4, Mathew
6:10).
3). Turning from wicked ways (2Chronicles 7:14, 6:27)
Conclusion: A life of contemplation and prayer will bring true revival. Are we ready to pay the price?
