The Halloween party is celebrated on October 31st, it’s one of the most popular in the world.

This
holiday has a pagan origin and is celebrated a day before the day of all saints, a Christian celebration.
In Colombia, this party is mainly focused on children although adults also enjoy this date. I really
love Halloween It is common for city streets to be filled with children dressed as their favorite
characters, from super heroes, animated characters and the smallest of animals. I’m a big fan of
superheroes so I usually dress up with that motive. It is a day in which it is customary to order
sweets. Sweet or trick, for this celebration people fix the facades of their houses, commercial
premises such as restaurants, shopping centers, discos and cafes also decorate their establishments
with figures alluding to this celebration, images of bats, ghosts, cobwebs, witches and pumpkins
decorate these places. I quite like to see how creative people are fixing their homes and offices. This
year in the company where I work decorated the office with the theme of the transylvania hotel,
it’s not bad although I liked those of the previous years about the smurfs and pacman. It is
customary to hold costume parties, contests for those who have the best costume, adults wear
dead, pirate, and vampire makeups in the offices. What I really enjoy is seeing happy children
receiving their candy and singing Trick-or-Treat. And what I really dislike is that some people use
this date to do bad things like sacrifices to children. Some people use this day to go to theaters to
watch horror movies although this is n’t exactly my thing, I absolutely hate scary movies, I prefer
to go out to eat with friends and family. This makes me feel good. My absolute favorite food is
pasta or going to a costume party but not in a nightclub since I can't stand the high volume of music.
