D. LESSON PROPER
1.) Presentation
Based on your activity, who can guess what is I think our lesson for today is about
our lesson for today? characters, Ma’am.
Very good.
2.) Discussion
Our lesson for today is “Dynamic and Static
Characters”.
Who can define dynamic characters? Dynamic characters are the characters who
change in the end of the story, Ma’am.
Very good. Dynamic characters are the
characters who undergoes an important inner
change. And when we say inner change it
refers to the characters personality or attitude.
Why do you think Beast is an example of a Ma’am because he changed from a hot-
dynamic character? tempered beast turns to a sweet and handsome
prince.
Very good! The same with Shrek, he is a
dynamic character because he changed from
grouchy and mean ogre to a much more
caring ogre.
What is static character? Static characters are the characters in the story
that does not change.
Exactly! Static Characters are the characters
that does not change at all throughout the
story.
Scar, Olaf and Cinderella’s stepmother and
stepsisters are example of static character
because they stay the same person at the end
of the story as they were at the beginning of
the story.
3.) Application
