Dear Students,

1) Laboratory Assessment will cover 20% of the total mark for Separation Process subject. For
Laboratory Psychomotor Assessment (10% from 100% lab report), each student will be assessed on
their practical skills based on individual basis.

2) Download the Laboratory Psychomotor Assessment form, fill up the necessary details, and submit
to Laboratory Instructor BEFORE lab session (1 form for each group and for each experiment). If no
Psychomotor Assessment form during lab session, the mark will be given ZERO.

3) Please also download the laboratory manuals and prepare/study before doing the respected
experiment.

4) Report dateline is 1 WEEK after experimental lab. For any late submission, the mark will be reduced
by 5% per day to a maximum of 3 days, after which it will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

5) Students must submit the lab report via VLE. Compile Lab Report Submission Form/Rubric and
report into 1 file and convert to PDF before submit.

6) Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will be given ZERO.

7) Please refer the schedule for lab activities as per attached. Please ensure that you attend the right
lab on the right time.
