Reflection Paper #1

I enrolled in this class because I need one more UH course to graduate with

Honors this May. I looked at all of the available UH courses this semester, and I decided

that this one was the most beneficial to me, and it works really well in my weekly

schedule. My schedule is pretty busy, but I plan on putting in as much time as I need to

for good work. My goal is to get an A in this class and in every class this semester. That

way I can graduate with a 4.0 and finish strong. From the description of the class, I

really do think that I have lots of knowledge to gain by taking it. Since I am about to

graduate and enter the professional world for good, I need to strive to learn as much as

I can about the proper way to handle that environment.

In this class I hope to learn more about leadership skills in the workplace.

Throughout my career, I would like to be the best that I can be with the skills that I have

been given. If that means that someday I will be placed in a leadership position, then I

would like to start learning how to be a better leader now. Also, I would like to learn

more about how to utilize my weaknesses. I have not really thought about them in that

way before. Financial planning after school would be a great topic to cover, because I

do want to be wise about budgeting money, and any information on that would be great.

I still want to improve my resume and learn more about proper cover letters. During the

first class there were several topics that I had not heard of before. Including the CV

document. I am sure I will enjoy this class this semester!
