Q.1. Describe the management aspects & management outlook for quality improvement. [5]

Q.2. Out of 20 components in a bin 5 are defective and 15 are good. To make a circuit for
Nebulizer it is required to have 5 such components. The circuit will be functional if at
least 3 of its 5 components are good. What is the probability that the circuit so assembled
will be good? [5]

Q.4. M/s. Luxor Manufacturing Co’s. defective outgoing ECG monitors may be considered as
a random variable having normal distribution with a variance of 4. The QC Engineer
investigates and finds the probability of more than 4 defects to be 0.102. What is mean
