MEXICO POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS

Mexico's political System is a democratic republic headed by the Federal presidential

representative. The Government of Mexico is based on the congregational System. In which

President leads both the Government and the state of Mexico in a system of multiparty (Michel,

279-288). The Federal Government represents United Mexican State. The Federal Government

has three branches in which it is: executive, judicial, and legislative.

Executive power as the constitution establishes, the President of the United States of

Mexican is the head of the Executive power and is assisted by the Cabinets Secretaries.

Moreover, the President is also both the head of state and government in which he is also the

Commander in chief of the Armed Forces. The majority votes elect the President in a term of

only six years in which he/she should not be re-elected (Schuhbauer 365-376).

The legislative power is settled by the Congress of Union which comprise of two houses

with are the lower house named Chamber of Deputies and an upper house called Senate of

Republic. The legislative performs different tasks in the Government, which include declaring

Wars, making laws, approval of national taxes, and imposing taxes.

Government stability in any particular country is measured in its ability to withstand

crisis without undergoing internal conflicts and blames within the administration on who is

responsible for the crisis (Michel, 279-288). Mexico have significantly shown its capabilities to

manage its crisis with little challenges. For example, Mexico, for a very long period, have been

able to maintain its economy stably. Its economy has experienced very minimal shortcomings

that are limited and cannot be rated to portray political stability. Also, political stability can be

demonstrated by a government (Hybel, 247-259). By; its inability to be part of a crisis or a

problematic situation for our case; Mexico showed a significant concern in its willingness to

maintain political stability. For example, it was willing to offer a diplomatic dialogue for a

peaceful de-escalation on the Venezuela crisis. The crisis divided the united states, but Mexico

did not choose sides. That is a side to support to win on the conflict; this is a sign of political

stability and portrays the willingness of the Government to maintain a politically stable

government through crisis avoidance or peaceful resolution.

The rise in the current security issues in the country is becoming an issue of significant

consideration in consideration of future political risks and political stability. This issue includes

torture, police repression, political injustices, and another form of oppression. These tend to

escalate the rate of political instability in the country (Schuhbauer 365-376). These will

summarize that if the rate of politically related crime increases in the same paces as it is now.

The Government's future is most likely to be at risk of managing its stability. Corruption

perception index indicates that Mexico has less than 40% score in the world corruption index.

Corruption in Mexico is on the rise; if not curbed, it will reach a level at which it will be difficult

and hard to control. These may lead to a high rate in economic fluctuation in the country. These

will have an adverse impact in the country's economy, which have been very stable for a very

long period (Hybel, 247-259).

Generally, Mexico have a relatively stable political system and an economy that is above

average. These are an indication that the country's literacy level and labor availability and on a

rising star. Economic stability has a suggestion that labor cost in the country is above average.
