1 The program is based on the availability of the workshops / activities at the time of forwarding the quotation. If the workshops are not available, we will try
our best to find a replacement for the same.
2. The ROE is assumed at 1 SGD= INR 51.50. Any increase/decrease in the ROE before the final installment will be adjusted in the final cost of the program.
3. We at Inverted Prism do not specifically provide service of booking flight tickets and visa application, however to facilitate the overall program, we will just
collect funds from you on behalf of service provider (who is providing service for flight ticket and visa application) in the capacity of pure agent on cost-to-cost
basis.

Dear Parent,
The Gaudium School’s endeavor has been to bring your child the most value-creating kind of
education. We are constantly innovating to ensure our children get a holistic approach in their
learning process. The outdoors play an integral part besides the world class education at The
Gaudium School and our outdoor trips in 2019 will be with a focus which will facilitate classroom
learning.

The Camp History Discoverer programme at Uttarakhand with a proposed date from 1 October
to 5 October 2019 has unique activities and visits focused on specific learning outcomes. The
programme focuses on adrenaline pumping adventure activities in this magnificent setting.
Activities and many more experiences have been crafted to inculcate various learning outcomes.
All this would be done through activities, visits, interactions and experiences requiring reflection.

The programme would be done through our outdoor partners – Trailblazers

(www.trailblazersindia.com) a 25 year old company who are pioneers in the field of Outdoor
Education having an impeccable safety record and work with schools of all curriculums from all
over India. These trips will be with the highest safety, learning and more importantly fun making
our children life-long learners.

About Location

The campsite is situated near Rishikesh along the banks of the mighty Ganga. Surrounded by
luscious alpine forests, fill your lungs with fresh mountain air. Take part in adrenaline pumping
adventure activities in this magnificent setting. Awake to the calls of chirping birds, the Himalayas
are home to many endemic flora and fauna. The campsite is the perfect place to unwind and re-
energize yourself.

1- Camp Details:
Camp dates 1st – 5th October 2019
Accommodation Accommodation on multi sharing basis in deluxe, luxury, swiss tent cottages
with ensuite (attached) facilities of two western style toilets, running water per
tent. Each tent furnished with beds, mattresses, blankets, pillows and all basic
amenities
Travel Plan Flight from Hyderabad to Delhi and back. AC coach transfers from Delhi airport
to campsite in Uttarakhand and back, tolls, parking and applicable taxes.
Food Carefully planned menu and child friendly meals. Unlimited Vegetarian and Non-
vegetarian buffet meals – breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner. Bottled
water and snack hampers during bus journeys. Filtered water at the site.
Camp Price INR 38000/- per child.
(Airfare valid up to Saturday 27th July 2019)
Note: We request parents to check fares if they really want to on the net in
‘incognito mode’ as the fare increases on portals due to repeated search for a
particular flight and we may not be able to offer the same fare. As of now, no
flight tickets have been booked and hence this request.

Price Excludes • Evacuation: Any emergency evacuation or medical expenses
• Others: Aerated drinks, Extra meals based on flights/trains/road journeys,
shopping, telephone calls or Porter services, camera, video charges at monuments.
Entry fees at monuments are for Indian Nationals. Tips, gratuities.
In TRAILBLAZERS outdoor programmes, safety is paramount. No swimming or
Safety, overnight road journey is allowed in any of our camps/ campsites. Each
Insurance and participant is insured to a tune of Rs. 50,000/-with The New India Assurance
Medical Company Ltd. A fully equipped TRAILBLAZERS medical kit with trained
Facilities instructors in first-aid will be available. Dispensary with local doctors is
contactable from the camps. Any medical expenses to be borne by participants.

SAMPLE ITINERARY
Board afternoon early morning flight to Delhi. Drive from Delhi to campsite (266 kms
approx.) Arrive by evening. check-in, orientation. Icebreakers and team games. Introduction
Day 1 to ‘Knotty Knots’ to get familiar with ropes, knots, climbing equipment / gear, helmets, safety
procedures. Know your campsite better through a short trail. Circle time and Team activities
(depending on time and arrival at the campsite) followed by dinner and lights out.
Rise and shine. A perfect time to practice mindfulness through a short Meditation session
followed by warm up exercises as a part of Health and Fitness Strand and breakfast. Briefing
on Mountain biking, safety, gear. Leave for an exciting off road, mountain-biking expedition
for approx. 10 kms. Cycle back downhill to campsite. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch and rest after
Day 2
a challenging and fun day of mountain biking. Before the Sun sets, a fun session by the river –
learn Body surfing with life jackets and gear. Glide through the cool waters of the river or
splash around. Return to the campsite. Tea and light snacks. Team games. Reflections and circle
time around a warm Campfire. Dinner. Lights out.
Rise and shine, early breakfast. ‘Trekopedia session, mountain etiquettes and ‘Leave no trace’.
Head out for an exciting mountain trek. Accomplish SEWA by contributing to a cleaner
environment and Swach Bharat, clean-up on the trek route. Enroute get a glimpse of
Day 3 mountain life and earn your meal by assisting in seasonal agricultural activities, help the
villagers make a compost, milk a cow and live the village life ! Return to camp by late evening,
reflections and fun activities, musical campfire session and dinner. Lights out.

Rise and shine. Morning energisers, breakfast. Begin an adrenaline rush adventure activities day
with Tree Jumaring / Rappelling / Valley Crossing in groups. Lunch, rest. Swap activities. Evening
Day 4
tea and team bonding and reflection time, Get ready for an exciting Talent Night! Dinner & Lights
out.
Breakfast, followed by Warm fuzzies, an activity to increase positivity in the group, closing
Day 5 ceremony of the camp. It’s time to pack your bags and bid adieu to the mountains. Check out.
Drive to Delhi to board late night flight to Hyderabad.
