I would like to apply for the position of Chief Financial Officer at Shoe Guru.  

The position is extremely appealing to me because it would be both an opportunity and 

challenge to lead the accounting department to success. I would love to be a part of 
the team to help grow the company’s revenue as well as increase profitability.  

With my experience being captain of the varsity volleyball team as well as coaching 
younger kids in volleyball camps, I am comfortable leading and working with others. I 
am a strong student in the classroom as shown through my 4.3 GPA. I have completed two 
full years of accounting courses and I also placed in the top 5 of the College of 
DuPage Accounting Contest last year with Honors Accounting. I feel I would be a great 
addition to your team and I have the drive to take on this chief position.
