EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Forth Railway bridge is a balanced cantilever bridge located in Scotland. The purpose of this
project is to make a replica models of The Forth Railway bridge in order to know more about
how the construction is done and what the construction elements are in it

PROJECT PURPOSE/JUSTIFICATION
This project is intend to complete final assignment of the first term of Introduction of
Construction and Engineering Management class. In this project, the main target is to build a
replica of The Forth Railway Bridge within the time given to be presented at Podomoro
University before final exam.

SWOT ANALYSIS

Business Need/Case
For Student :
1. Do the assignment to achieve a satisfying study result in the first semester
2. No need to pay more tuition fee by study over again in the next semester
3. Understand more about construction elements and building
For Lecturer :
1. Give evaluation and assessment to the students

Business Objectives
- Work on the project well by improving a great teamwork
- Work on the project routinely by following the milestones schedule
- Pay attention to every detail of the project to minimize misdoing

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is aim to complete the first semester assignment by building an infrastructure replica
(in this project, bridge) that follows the theory of building construction & elements which
already explained in class

Project Objectives and Success Criteria


The objectives for the project are as follows :
1. Costs used to finish this project is according to the budget plan (Rp400.000,-)
2. Time spent to finish this project is 2 months
3. Build the replica of The Forth Bridge that satisfy both the project members and the
lecturer
Success Criteria :
1. The project will be done according to the budget plan, if possible less than the budget
plan ( < Rp400.000,-)
2. The project will be finished in less than 2 months and will be presented along with the
outcome product in the last class of the first semester (week 14)
3. Both the project members and the lecturer is satisfied by the finale project deliverables
(the completed replica)

PROJECT MANAGER

Steven Lim holds the Project Manager Position. Project Manager performs the day-to-day
management of the project and has specific accountability for managing the project within the
approved constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, to deliver the specified requirements,
deliverables and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all
aspects of the project are planned and executed in time. The team, consisting Josephine Karmela
and William Oswaldo Thonora will be supporting Project Manager in order to manage and build
the Forth Rail Bridge model. Project Manager is authorized to approve all budget expenditures. If
additional funding is needed, there has to be an agreement through the Team Members, Josephine
Karmela and William Oswaldo Thonora.
