The graphic organizer above is designed to lead the students through the 3 levels
of thinking. It gives them a path to fully dissect the problem. Each box is a new
step that helps them see the problem in a different light. I designed this to help the
students see there are several different ways to solve the word problems. It also
ask reflective questions before they give the final answer to push for more critical
thinking skills.

This graphic organizer is designed to reflect on the method the student used to
solve the problem. It is meant to strengthen the understanding of why math works
and help students have a deeper understanding of the method and how to apply it
to different problems in the future.
