Senior Reporting Assistant, The United Nations Refugee Agency (March 2019-February 2020) In
charge of all reporting requirements, including but not limited to the weekly Senior Management
Committee Report and the monthly Mindanao Situation Report; writes relevant articles and
documentation related to UNHCR activities and partnerships; reviews and edits all written output
of UNHCR Philippines in Mindanao, both from the Cotabato City field office and Iligan City hub.
Senior Program Associate, Initiatives for International Dialogue (July 2018-February 2019) Served as
project officer of the Democratic Leadership and Active Civil Society Empowerment in the
Bangsamoro for IID-Davao; provides support and assistance in IID-Davao’s Pilipinas Program,
focusing on communications, peace processes, and Bangsamoro-related initiatives.
Senior Writer, ARMM Bureau of Public Information (January 2018-May 2018; January 2015 - March
2017) Wrote statements, speeches, and messages for the regional governor and other senior
officials of the ARMM regional government; wrote various news features and columns regarding

Muslim Community Legal Handbook: Relevant Legal Materials for the Muslim Filipino Communities
(editor). A 2014 publication of the Bureau of Legal Affairs, National Commission on Muslim
Filipinos (NCMF); produced with the assistance of the European Union. This handbook apprises
the Muslim Filipino of their basic rights and can help them safeguard these rights.
Building Momentum for Low Carbon Development (editor). A 2014 publication of the World Wildlife
Fund tackling low carbon development in the Philippines, and how to make the transition to a
100% renewable energy-based economy.
Building a Critical Peace Constituency: Multi-sectoral Consultations on the Framework Agreement on
the Bangsamoro. A 2013 publication of the Mindanao Human Rights Action Center in
coordination with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); an in-depth documentation
of the multi-sectoral consultations regarding the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro,
done in more than 20 locations in Mindanao and Palawan.

INTERNSHIPS

Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility (April to June 2008) Did research for stories published in
PJR Reports, CMFR’s monthly publication; did news monitoring on press-freedom related issues.
