Abstract
This study is to examine the relationship between the work family conflict and turnover intention in banking industry. This
was useful to examine the actual position of work and family related responsibilities and their impact on turnover intention.
Based on a well structured questionnaire data were collected randomly from the Trivadrum district. A total of 155 samples
were collected. Correlation and t - test were used for data analysis at 0.05alpha levels. The findings showed that there is a
relationship between the work family conflict and turnover intention( P<0.05). It is also revealed that there is no difference in
perception between gender and marital status. Th study was conducted among a limited population and it lacks the time for
collecting the responses. Inorder to make a good relationship with the employees and organisation bank should increase its
work life practises and involve all its employees among in it. This can increase the satisfaction of the employees.
