Reason for choosing this Location:
Disaster preparedness is one of the basic needs of the people today to survive. Flash
floods, Volcanic Eruption, Earthquake are just some of the disasters that occur on our country.
So we come up of a program to guide them and give them the knowledge to counter these
disasters.
Sitio 7, Barangay Balagtas, Batangas City is a normal community that needs a proper
guidance about disaster preparedness. Children at age 8-12 don’t have any knowledge about
disaster preparedness so we decided to conduct our program “AKSYON- Disaster Preparedness
program every Saturday starting February 22- May 16, 2020. We hope that this program will be
of great help to them in case of emergencies.
