MECHANICS
TABLE SKIRTING
1. Each team is composed of two (2) participants.
2. Competitions are requested to wear proper school uniform. If ever
the contestants don’t have a uniform, they can wear a plain White T-
Shirt and black pants.
3. Competitors must bring their own materials (Cloth for table skirting)
4. Table skirting must be applied to all four sides of the table.
5. Competition proper will start at 8:00 a.m
NUTRI-JINGLE CONTEST
1. The contestant is open to all Senior High Schools students of MIT.
2. Participants must be 25 members.
3. Lyrics must be originally made.
4. The content of the Nutri-jingle must be lively, appealing, creative and
must highlight the Nutrition month celebration’s theme: “Kumain ng
Wasto at Maging Aktibo, Push Natin To!”
5. The jingle must be 3 minutes only. Two (2) points will be deducted
per minute lapse.
6. No liquid or flammable materials allowed.
7. No foul words and rude words allowed.
8. English, Filipino, or Visayan languages are allowed to use.
9. Introduction and explanation of the jingle as part of the entry is not
necessary.
10. Any musical instrument can be used as accompaniment at the
composer’s discretion.
MECHANICS
WATERMELON CARVING
1. Participants must wear appropriate cooking attire during the
competition.
2. All carving, assembling, peeling, and cutting shall be done during the
actual competition only.
3. No pre-slicing, carving or preparation of fruits before the competition.
No mark or drawings should be visible on the fruits. Coordinators and
judges will check the materials before the start of competition. Any
material with marks or drawings will be taken out.
4. Participants are required to provide their own working tools and fruits.
5. Watermelon is the fruit required to be used as main materials for
carving (Small quantity/portion of other fruits and vegetables are
allowed but should not dominate the identified main materials for
carving.)
6. Only toothpicks and barbecue sticks are allowed to be used. Wire,
glue, spray, and artificial coloring are NOT allowed.
7. Time allotment is two (2) hours. Going beyond the allotted time will
mean penalty of one (1) point per minute thereof which will be
subtracted from the average score.
POSTER & SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST
6. There shall be two (2) representatives for each section. Two (2)
representatives will make one output for the contest.
7. The poster slogan shall interpret and revolve around the theme:
“KUMAIN NG WASTO AT MAGING AKTIBO, PUSH NATIN TO.”
8. The materials to be used shall be provided by the participants
themselves.
9. The following are at the art materials allowed to be used:
a. Oil Pastel, Cartolina, Marker, pen, Pencil, Eraser
10. The entries must be done on the spot and must be completed within
the allotted time of 1 ½ hour.

Maco Institute of Technology, Inc.
COOK FEST Binuangan, Maco, Compostela Valley Province
1. Contestants must be currently enrolled in this Institution.
2. Ten participants in each section.
3. Each contestant must be presentable and in proper cooking attire
provided with apron, hairnet and mask.
4. All the ingredients can only be found in their prepared food basket for
the said event.
5. Contestants are required to display their recipe of their chosen entry
dish.
6. Peeling and cutting shall be done during the actual competition only.
7. Use only firewood.
8. Bring own utensils for cooking and preparation.
9. Contestant must check and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness
to their respective cooking area.

DESSERT
1. Contestants must be currently enrolled in this Institution.
2. Contestants must wear proper cooking attire provided with apron,
hairnet and mask.
3. Contestant can use blender, ice crusher and other related materials
for the preparation of their additional ingredients.
4. All carving, assembling, peeling, and cutting shall be done during the
actual competition only.
5. Contestants must check and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness
to their respective area.
6. Time allotment is two (2) hours. Going beyond the allotted time will
mean penalty of one (2) point per minute which will be subtracted
from the total points.

BOOTH DISPLAY COMPETITION

1. Student-participants should be officially enrolled for the 1st semester
of the school year 2019-2020 in MIT. All members of the group
should be present during the presentation.
2. Go, Grow, and Glow foods should be arranged accordingly and will
maximize the whole area of the booth.
3. Fail to follow the above statement will have 5 points deduction in
each criterion.
