PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PENGAYAAN KIMIA BERBASIS MIND MAP

MATERI LAJU REAKSI SEMESTER GANJIL

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan Chemistry


Mind MapMateri Laju Reaksi sebagai sumber belajar kimia siswa SMA/MA dan
menentukan kualitas buku pengayaan yang dihasilkan berdasarkan penilaian 5
guru kimia SMA/MA sebagai reviewer ditinjau dari tiga komponen kelayakan
yang meliputi kelayakan isi, penyajian, dan mind map.
Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analisis,
Disain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi) yang meliputi lima tahapan,
yaitu tahap analisis, disain, pengembangan, penilaian produk, dan analisis data
kualitatif produk. Buku pengayaan ini hanya membahas materi laju reaksi. Produk
awal ditinjau oleh ahli materi sekaligus ahli media, 3 orang peer reviewer, 10
siswa SMA/MA kelas XI, dan 5 orang guru SMA/MA sebagai reviewer. Produk
akhir dinilai oleh 5 orangreviewer, yaitu guru kimia SMA/MA. Penilaian
dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian yang terdiri dari 24
indikator.
Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa buku ChemistryMind Map Materi
Laju Reaksi yang memperoleh persentase keidealan untuk komponen kelayakan
isi/materi, penyajian, dan mind map berturut-turut adalah 87,5%, 88,00%, dan
85,53%. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh lima reviewer, produk akhir buku
pengayaan memperoleh kategori kualitas sangat baik (SB). Oleh karena itu, buku

kimia siswa SMA/MA.

DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMISTRY ENRICHMENT BOOK BASED ON
MIND MAP OF THE TOPIC OF REACTION RATE
FOR GRADE XI SMA/MA

ABSTRACT

The research aimed to develop Reaction Rate Chemistry Mind Map Book
as a chemistry learning source for students of SMA/MA and to determine the
quality of the enrichment book according to the assessment of 5 SMA/MA
chemistry teachers in terms of content expediency, presenting expediency, as well
as mind map expediency.
This researchusedADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development,
Implementation, and Evaluation) development model including five stages, they
wereanalysis, design,development, product assessment, and data analysis. The
compiled enrichment book discussed the topic of reaction rate. The initial product
was reviewed by a subject matter and media expert, 3 persons of peer reviewers,
10 persons of SMA/MA students and 5 persons of SMA/MA teachers. The final
product was assessed by 5 reviewers of SMA/MA teachers from different schools.
Assesment was done by using research instrument consisting 24 indicators.
The result of this development research was the Reaction Rate Chemistry
Mind Map Book.The ideal percentage of content/material expediency, presenting
expediency, and mind map expediency are 87.5%, 88.00%, and 85.53%
respectively. According to the assessment of 5 reviewers, this final product quality
of Enrichment Book obtained was very good. Thus the Reaction Rate Chemistry

Mind Map Book for students of SMA/MAcan be used as a chemistry learning
source of SMA/MA.
