Adistinction shall bbe made between ultrasonic surface testing, ultrasonic border zone testing and full ultrasonic testing 3 Classes 3.4 Uttrasonically tested heavy plate under these de- livery specifications shall be classified in accordance with Tables 1 and2 but independently of the test method. ‘able 1 shows the surface test classes and Table 2 the border zone test classes. 3.2. The classes per Table 1 or Table 2 shall be selee- ted by the purchaser.
