The British prime minister decides the parliament should suspend the
sessions temporarily
Queen Elizabeth II of England has welcomed the proposal of prime minister Boris
Johnson calling for the country's parliament to be temporarily closed from mid-
September to mid-October. The queen's advisory council said in a statement the period
of reluctance to take up parliamentary activities would begin not "before next Monday"
and not after September 12, until October 14, 2019. Prime Minister Boris Johnson sent
the proposal earlier today in what opposition leaders refer to as a conspiracy to prevent
MPs from opposing the British plan to withdraw from the European Union without a
compromise.

Japan ranks South Korea in the list of the most favored countries in the
world
Japan has decided to oust South Korea from the list of most favored nations among its
trading partners. South Korea's leaders have expressed their "deep sadness" over the
Japanese decision. Officials in Seoul have called Japan's ambassador and expressed
their concerns. South Korea has threatened to retaliate by excluding Japan from such a
list of the most favored trade partners. Meanwhile South Korea's prime minister Lee
Nak Yeon is urging talks to be called off. The source of the ongoing trade dispute for
over a week has now been prompted by South Korea's demands for compensation to the
nation's citizens who were forced to work during Japan's colonial rule.
