According to a research made by Quennie Ann J. Palafox, MPA and others (2018)
it states this study concludes that while the Accountancy, Business and Management
(ABM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) are generally competent in
employability skills categories, and it suggest that the school must provide opportunities to
enhance the students competency in numeracy for ABM students and problem solving and
communication skills for HUMSS. The research was conducted through a survey
questionnaire constructed by the researcher.

Imee Acosta and Alexander Acosta (2016), the study focuses on the readiness of
higher education institutions in the Philippines on implementing of Senior High School
program of the ne Kto12 curriculum. Data were gathered through survey questionnaire.
The result shows five predisposing factors such as eligibility, staffing guidelines, course
streamlining, workforce surplus management, and alternative programs to that serves as
determinants of senior high school readiness of higher education institutions. The survey
highlights the eligibility as one of its determinants that contributes to the readiness among
faculty members of higher education institutions to the implementation of Kto12 program.

Cabansag, Ph.D. (2014), gathering and documenting of data using qualitative


method of research on the impact statements on implementation of Kto12 science program.
Science is one of the subject areas in the Kto12 curriculum, viewed as venue for honing
students’ talents obtained through various learning activities. The results shows that the
impact statements were categorized into four major themes such as observed practices and
knowledge on Kto12 science program, impact statements on benefits derived from the
program, potential impacts of the program on future life situations, and views on sources
of misinterpretations on the program. Based on the respondents views, the Kto12 science
program as a means of preparing students toward better employment opportunities in the
country or abroad.

On its first major, observed practices and knowledge on Kto12 science program the
parents and students have the same view or perception that the Kto12 program will provide
elective courses on Technology and Livelihood Education. The second one is, impact
statements on benefits derived from the program, as the program implemented the hiring
of teachers will increase its employment. On the other hand, potential impacts of the
program on future life situations focus on economic and social benefits. The skills training
and specialization acquire by the students will prepare them in the world of work. And
lastly, views on sources of misinterpretations on the program, when the new programs
implemented it usually cause pains to both implementer and receiver in which it includes
shortage of allotted funds or delay of release of funds that results to insufficient resources.
The report suggest to have more improvements or develop a higher system of secondary
education while considering the provision of opportunities for learners.

Joseline M. Santos, Ph.D. and others (2019) the researcher collects data from the
questionnaire they provide. The result of the data gathered showed that 80.67% of the
strands of the 119 respondents SHS graduates of Bulacan State University Laboratory High
School are aligned to their college course.

Nhelbourne K. Mohammad (2016) parents and students have different perceptions


regarding the implementation of Kto12 program. The result revealed that some parents
have negative viewed as this will be a burden for them and for their children physically
and financially. But most of the parents have positive viewed, thinking this will help the
learners or their children to choose and decide the career that will best suits to their skills.
Students will be fully develop their skills and will be knowledgeable to the new idea. In
all, The results shows that some informant has positive and negative opinion, but mostly
in positive opinion and viewed.

Maurice Dence B. Bacaling (2018) the researcher apply mixed method design
wherein the questionnaire are provided and conducted a focus- group discussion. The result
shows that majority of the senior high school students were geared towards pursuing their
studies to higher education (57.4%). Some students wanted to find a job after graduation
(34.9%), still there are students who can't decide of what to take after graduation (0.9%).
