1. How did you conceive the problem of your tentative topic?

A THESIS is a statement that indicates your main point, identifying your topic and the
CLAIM. As I go through in my chosen study, there is always an assumption that in
every topic. It should be beneficial to my profession and future purposes that could
possibly effect change and development in current time and situation.
I picked a topic that suffice my interests because I know I am going to live with this
topic for weeks while I research, read, and write my assignment. I choose something
that will hold my interest and that I might even be excited about. My attitude towards
my topic will come across in my writing or presentation.

2. What is its objectives? and would it enhance education

pursuit you intend to attend?
Its objectives is to help teachers and curriculum developers on how to formulate a
worksheets, a basis on learners needs and abilities. This study could really beneficial
on enhancing educational institutions that lead them to provide students' worksheets
based on their needs on testing and exercising their skills and abilities in correct
usage of verb in grammar.

3. How significant is it in your major in MAED?

The study that I choose has a huge significance to my course. As an English teacher,
this study would create big impact to those teaching grammar, especially, those
teachers, who always asked by their superior to create or provide a tests or
worksheets as a supplement for students needs.

4. What is the purpose of your study that would enrich your

professional field?
The purpose of this study is to help educators as well as students in providing such
activities or supplemental worksheets in deepening the knowledge and understanding
of the learners when it comes to correct usage of verbs as broad part of speech in
grammar skills.
5. How will you select your theoretical framework?
The theoretical framework must demonstrate an understanding of theories and
concepts that are relevant to the topic of my study and that relate to the broader areas
of knowledge being considered. I must review course readings and pertinent research
studies for theories and analytic models that are relevant to the research problem I am
investigating. The selection of a theory should depend on its appropriateness, ease of
application, and explanatory power.

6. What is the basis of your conceptual paradigm?

Input-Ouput-process
A conceptual framework represents the writer’s synthesis of literature on how to
explain a phenomenon. It maps out the actions required in the course of the study
given his previous knowledge of other writers’ point of view and his observations on
the subject of research. Decide on what will be my research topic because the topic
should be within my field of specialization. A literature review relevant and updated
research on the theme that I decide to work on after scrutiny of the issue at hand.
Preferably use peer-reviewed and well-known scientific journals as these are reliable
sources of information. These are the factors that could drive me to the success of my
study as all we know, the more information you have into it would be beneficial to
create an input-output process in my study.

7. How will you present your SOP?

A statement of the problem is used in research work as a claim that outlines the
problem addressed by a study. The statement of the problem briefly addresses the
question: What is the problem that the research will address? It should address a gap
in knowledge. In my study, I should present the state of the problem with the following
criteria.
1. It should be significant enough to contribute to the existing body of research.
2. It should lead to further research
3. The problem should render itself to investigation through collection of data
4. It should be of interest to the researcher and suit his/her skills, time, and resources
5. The approach towards solving the problem should be ethical
