INTRODUCCION
‘Los actuales procesos que se generan en el entorno mundial, y de manera particular en
nuestro pafs, nos obligan a optimizar nuestro desempefio personal y profesional, de tal manera
que podamos afrontar con entereza los retos de Modernizacién que exigen estos tiempos.
‘Sin embargo, modemizacién noes simplemente una palabra o un slogan Institucional, es
una total actitud de cambio. Es el confrontar nuestras realidades con nuestras posibilidades y
determinar asf nuestra posicién con respecto al desarrollo laboral.
Enel INEGI entendemos esta posturay mantenemos la filosofia de lograr la excelencia
total através de la capacitacién y la formacién de personal comprometido con la Institucién y con
su propio desempefio.
Elentendimiento Institucional que existe, en el sentido de que el trabajador es el mayor
patrimonio laboral, permite ofrecer, al mayor ntimero de personas, ciclos de capacitacién disefiados
enel Programa Integral de Capacitacién, Formacién e Investigacién.
Eneste contexto, la capacitacién en el idioma inglés se ha convertidoen actividad sustantiva
del PICFI y lo consideramos una de las vias que ayudan a conseguir la modernizacién y
profesionalizacién de los trabajadores.
Laedicién de los libros de inglés representa un esfuerzo del Instituto por fomentar la
actualizaci6n de sus colaboradores a través de los cursos que para tal efecto ofrece.
