METHOD OF INSTALLATION OF
NERVIA A456
FLEXIBLE CEMENTITIOUS WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE
With FIBERGLASS MESH REINFORCEMENT

1. All areas to be waterproofed shall be wood-trowelled smooth, firm, dry and

clean of rubbish, loose or foreign materials and obstruction, bumps flattened,
and holes filled and leveled. Installation of cants in the angle formed by the
horizontal and vertical surfaces, as well as the installation of metal fittings
and similar work shall be installed in place and/or completed. New concrete
must be properly water cured before application. Surface to be waterproofed
should be examined for structural defects and rectified prior to application.

2. Application of first coat NERVIA A456 Flexible Cementitious waterproofing

Membrane diluted with 5% water to serve as primer coating.

3. Laying of fiberglass mesh reinforcement.

4. Application of second coat (full coat) of NERVIA A456 Flexible Cementitious

Waterproofing Membrane

5. With the second coating thoroughly dry, apply the third coating of U NERVIA
A456 Flexible Cementitious Waterproofing Membrane followed by the fourth
and final coating.

6. Waterproofed area shall be left to dry and cure for at least two (2) days prior
to floodtesting. Foot traffic is not allowed during this

7. Floodtest waterproofed areas for Twenty-four (24) hours or as required by

client with a minimum depth of two (2) inches.

TOPPING:

Except for exposed membrane, after the flood testing and upon approval and
acceptance, all waterproofed areas shall be protected with 2” concrete topping
reinforced with temperature (sloped towards the drain). These shall be done by the
General Contractor/ Owner.

GUARANTEE:

We offer a full five (5) years of guarantee for our works and materials. However,
damages caused by force majeure such as earthquake, fire, explosion, lightning,
settlement, structural failures and movement of metal work use in conjunction with
waterproofing work are not covered by this guarantee.
