Fashion show

Fashion show is very popular and entertaining college event. It can be done with
many variations and innovations. Like there can be a theme, or categories. A fashion
show can be made innovative by including challenging themes focused on fashion,
makeup and nail art. A fashion show can be themed on Bollywood and Hollywood
personalities to make it more entertaining. If organised flawlessly, it can do wonders.
This event can be organised department wise for even more fun.

Loopholes- There can be repetition in the clothes or two participants may be wearing
somewhat same clothes. This event requires large crowd attention.

Fiction Writing

This event comes under the most creative, fun and entertaining competition out of
all. In fictional writing competition all the contestants are assigned with few lines and
letting them build the rest on their own. Usually word limits are assigned to judge
the capability of the students with their impacting stories wrapped in the given word
limit. And the stories that will leave their imprints on the mind and heart of the jury
English Lits. There are various college event ideas for students but fictional or story
writing is will be declared the winner.
Greedy Knight

Now here is a very challenging and fun game. A chess board is given to a player with
each square consisting of one coin. He will be given a knight as well. The player
should be starting from a square(of interest) and the knight should be moved in ‘L’
shape and the coins should be collected. The knight should be returned to the place
of start within a specific time(mentioned in game play). Player should collect as many
coins of his wish. The knight can’t be moved to a square that don’t have a coin. This
game doesn’t require huge investment. And this can attract many people.

Loopholes- Lots of chess boards and coins are required.

ADZAP

The teams have to prepare convincing and entertaining ads for fictional products. This
spectacular event persuades the participants to instantaneously decide on a skit that
would depict an ad for a product that is given to them.

As a viewer, we like short but witty ads that convey the point. This is exactly the
judging criteria for this event and also includes the level of co-ordination while acting
in a group. A fun filled event for a group.

Housie

It is a very common game and mostly everyone will know about it. The game is presided over by
a caller, whose job it is to call out the numbers and validate winning tickets. He will announce the
prize or prizes for each game before starting. The caller will then usually say “Eyes down” to
indicate that he is about to start. He then begins to call numbers as they are randomly selected,
by drawing counters from a bag or by using balls in a mechanical draw machine. Calling takes the
format of simple repetition in the framework, “Both the fives, fifty five”, or “Two and three, twenty
three.” If played department wise this game can bring the hype.

The different winning combinations are:

 Line — covering a horizontal line of five numbers on the ticket.

 Two Lines — Covering any two lines on the same ticket.
 Full House — covering all fifteen numbers on the ticket.
 o In bonus (Super Housie) games, often three lines may be claimed – top, middle
and bottom, usually with much larger prizes, are also played at various times
throughout the session.
o It is most common for a line game to be followed directly by a two line game and
a full house game, or just by a full house game.
o In all cases, the last number called must be in the winning sequence.

Loophole- Tiebreaker is the biggest loophole here.
