1) Aspiring poet and short stories writer – Fascination with the world of literature has led me to experiment the creation of one
of my own.
2) Avid Learner of the Financial Markets – Started with a fascination of the daily trading on the Stock Markets, my curiosity led
me explore the
world of Finance. I backed up my initial interest with an online course on Financial Markets offered by Yale University.

Why you wish to pursue the education in management and what is your career plan(s)?

 My long-run objective is to achieve a senior managerial position in the financial services sector. I aspire to be the one who
significantly advances such a corporation. Therefore, I intend to develop within the scope of one firm. I believe that on my way
to achieve my career goal, I will express my talents and interests and contribute to society’s prosperity.

I view my interdisciplinary education in Commerce and Literature as part of a social background that can generate a successful
senior manager. To complete my preparation process, my short-term objectives is to gain a holistic understanding of business
administration and to master my leadership skills.

I sincerely believe that an MBA program from an esteemed B-School like IIM Indore will be a crucial link towards actuating my
career goals at this stage. The approach in the program of cultivating critical thinking ability through case studies in finance,
strategy and other application areas will help me strengthen my fundamentals and develop well-trained managerial instincts. I
stand to gain immensely through participation in challenging industry assignments and thus apply my learnings with the close
guidance of highly experienced and qualified faculty.

Over time and with introspection I realized my acumen for numerical analyses and that my long-term career vision was to
succeed in the financial services sector. Specialist electives in banking and finance will enable me to gain a stronger,
foundational foothold in my chosen area of endeavour. I also hope to equip myself with advanced analytical tools and
techniques that will foster managerial efficiency.

The other area of importance to my goals is leadership development and international exposure. In addition to specialized
courses in leadership development, IIM Indore provides the platform to interact with globally renowned faculty and a diverse
student community and develop interpersonal skills and comfort on a global scale. It also opens up vistas for networking
extensively with the vast alumni network and learning through seminars from global business leaders.
