Chart.

Charts illustrate comparison of 3 usage areas of water which are industrial, agricultural and domestic in
6 different parts of the world. Amount of water is measured in percentage and recorded in both South
and North America, Central and South East Asia, Europe and Africa.

Overall, it is obvious that industrial use of water made the bulk of proportion in 4 areas, namely South
America, Africa, Central and South East Asia. In remaining 2 regions, water is mainly used for industrial
purposes.

It can be seen that proportion of 2 different sites of Asia is too close to each other. Same amount of
water is used for domestic purposes (7%) and there is mere difference of 7 % between other usage
areas. What is more, percentage of Africa is also roughly same as Asia having 9 % for domestic, 7 and 84
% for industrial and agricultural purposes, respectively. One more similarity is observed in North
America and Europe. Amount of water used for industry made the half of overall proportion.
Percentage for agricultural and domestic aims has the respective proportion of 39 and 32 %, 13 and 15
% in North America and Europe. In South America, agricultural uses constitute majority of proportion
with three-fourths, while others complete quarter of overall proportion.
