Good day to everyone.

Healthcare has always been one of the biggest problems that diminishes the quality of life of our people.
Its inaccessibility greatly affects our daily lives and the society, as a whole. In 2018, Tarlac’s mortality
rate was in its highest, compared with the previous decades. Alarmingly, in the last 6 months of 2019
alone, this rate was doubled. As the mayor of this city, upon hearing the reason for this problem, I was
saddened by the fact that my people did not have the capacity to address their health concerns before it
was too late.

This is why I would like to thank everyone here for being part of this meaningful gathering especially
those who helped us to bring this project to success. It is a great pleasure for me to be here today.

I would like to seize this opportunity to congratulate us on launching this outstanding fund raising
campaign in which many urban organizations are involved. And I want to acknowledge the people who
helps us to brought success in today's event and joining our project/program that helps the city that
requires more improvement especially in the medical field. The donation that you give will surely reach
every locals and natives of the beautiful city of Tarlac. Our donation collected as of this month is
P5,500,000 (five-million fi ve-hundred thousand pesos) the sum will be transferred directly to
different medical related LGU’s and NGO’s that will execute the project/ program that we want to
achieve as our ultimate goal. On the pictures you can see locals and natives. That need urgent medical
attentions. The money will be use for buying of medical equipment and medicine.

Before I end this speech I would like to congratulate and thank everyone for being generous to our city
may you all be prosper and blessed by our almighty God.
