OBJECTIVES:

1. To take up a survey in order to study the socio-economic conditions of the slum dwellers.
2. To study the physical condition of the slum and understand the problems in the present
scenario
3. To understand the living condition of the slum dwellers and their perception of urban
amenities.
4. To examine the demographic characteristics of slum dwellers.
5. To identify the problems and constraints of slum development.
