I am applying for this scholarship because I don't have enough money for this course .

I am an
international student who is totally focused his goal to become a data analyst, and learning from this
course would be very beneficial as suggested by professors at my university.The fee I pay at school is
already high and it’s tough for me to cover that amount and paying for some extra courses would really
hurt my parent’s income. Being I have to ask for money from my parents as I do not earn money right
now. Though I think, the courses they teach at my university are wonderful but courses like these would
help become job ready and would give me an edge over other candidates.

After few courses if I am able to get an internship or some regular income, I would definitely like to
contribute to the coursera community. I am definitely going to ask my classmates and friends to look
into the various courses here at coursera.

This course will help me in improving my programming skills. Data science involves a lot of concepts
from python and programming. As I am studying a course which involves analysis on data collected from
different sources and python is used to analyze this data. Programming knowledge is of importance
when it comes to analyzing data sets and performing data science operations.

Learning programming concepts would also help me in learning more about how business function and
would help me when I join the workforce. I am an inquisitive person who likes to learn new things or
technologies which are currently trending. I hope to get this financial aid for my betterment of my
career and to be able to give a strong base to my skills and to achieve something great in life.

Coursera is the go-to website for many of us for learning new skills and I hope you would continue giving
opportunities to people like me who want to be successful in life and want to work hard to achieve it.
