In the second part of observation, the researcher was able to measure the

interest of the pupils in learning by observing the pupils when they were using the
intervention. When the intervention was implemented, the researcher had
observed the all the pupils by checking the observation checklist. For the first
aspect, all of the pupils showed an active participation in using the intervention.
All of the pupils were so cooperative with the researcher. This was because the
intervention that was implemented was a game-based learning. It used a game
as the medium of teaching. Thus, the pupils were very interested in playing the
game. The second aspect, all of the pupils also showed that they were enjoy
playing the intervention. They were very focus in playing the game until one of the
pupils did not hear when someone was calling. It was to that extent that the pupils
were very focus until they ignored their surroundings. For the last aspect, all of
the pupils showed that they were eager to play it again. This was because the
researcher used a challenge like competition between the pupils. When the pupils
were playing the intervention, they were trying their best to reach high scores to
defeat their friends. Thus, they were eager to play it again in order to defeat their
other friends. In conclusion, the implementation of the intervention had impacted
on the pupils’ interest in learning. Learning something in a traditional way is not
the only way to learn. But to make the pupils understand the lesson, different
approaches must be taken to overcome several problems.
