VI. Narrative Report:
A. Rationale/ Objectives:
The project " Teachers and Students in Action” aims to help the neighborhood
of Sitio Malalim to maintain and realize the importance of cleanliness of their
surroundings.

B. Methodology/ Procedure:
The “Teachers and Students in Action: For A Cleaner Environment” was
the theme of the commmunity service program proposed by the pre-service
teachers from University of Rizal System-Morong Rizal in Baras National High
School. The program started with short prayer to be led by Ali M. Alki, (BSE-
Physical Sciences) followed by some instructions and precautions headed by
 Anna Joy Mani, Renz Michael Librea Jamille Lumacad, April Joy Gilboy (BSE-
English) and Jayson Aquino (BSE-Biological Sciences)
The purpose of the activity was pronounced by Flerida V. Velgado, Before
the date of designated activity then, few follow up questions were scrutinized
within the students, particulary Grade 10-Narra
Finally, the cleaning of Sitio Malalim, as the highlight of the event was
conducted. Everyone has participation of cleaning the street, canals and
basketball court. Enclosure of the program was given Mrs. Flerida Velgado,
Mrs. Ma. Agne Abejeula from Science Department, Mrs.Jessica Jona Lim From
English Department and Mrs. Gilda Ocampo from Math Department that deeply
gave their gratitude for the people behind the success of activity. The
Certicication of Appreciation had been awarded by Mrs. Elma M. Estalilla,
Officer In Charge.

C. NARRATIVE OF EXPERIENCES:
Engaging ourself for the welfare of the environment through cleaning of
entire area of Sitio Malalim is definitely challenging because the cleaning of
Sitio Malalim was sweating and tiring. The massive garbage present all over
the place is estimated takes a longer period of time to clean but as we cleaned
the surroundings and slowly making the area neat and clean, we fondly
experience the fulfillment of joy. Eventually, our perseverance and endeavor is
fruitful and meaningful to see the whole place clean and contibute to minimize
the human impact on the environment.

E.Suggestions/Recommendations:
Continous cleaning of Sitio Malalim and nearby places are highly
recommended to maintain the place clean.
