Welcome and congratulations on becoming a member of Touché Fencing Club (TFC).

As a new member, we hope that you become part of our friendly fencing club and enjoy the fun
and laughter along with the great many skills that you will learn along the way whilst fencing with us.

Touché Fencing Club regularly produce a club newsletter for you to read; these come out each
term and will be in a hard copy and softcopy format and are a good way of knowing what’s going
on at your club. As you read through it, you will start to become familiar with the people and
activities that make our club as special as it is. Be sure to check out the list of scheduled activities
that appear in each newsletter so you can join in whenever you can.

Please bookmark our website www.Touchefencingclub.org.au which is where you will find complete
information on our club and activities along with a few photos of our members. If you are a part of
the Facebook online community, be sure to become a fan of the Touché Facebook page, which is
updated with events regularly.

Listed below are a small number of websites that will assist you along the way. Some you will need
immediately, others you will need later on.

Australian Fencing Federation - http://www.ausfencing.org
Kayt Spano (Aus.) Fencing Equipment - kayt.spano@gmail.com

The best part of what our club does, is have fun! We train each week from 7.00pm – 9.00pm, and
you will find the training nights very enjoyable. Most of the members at TFC have been fencing for
many years and members will happily share training techniques, hints, stories and ideas.
Each year TFC will hold a ‘Fun Day’ with the hope all can attend and join in whatever activity we
have planned. These are designed for all members, to meet and socialise outside of fencing.

Make sure that you are introduced to the following committee members, and feel free to approach
and ask them about anything you are unsure of:

Our Coaches all have a Working with Children Certification and are First Aid trained.

President: - Paul Baker

Vice president: - Carolyn Harrington

Secretary:- Natalie Bennett

Treasurer:- Danni Brown

Fundraiser: - Louise Baker

Communications Allana Gogan

Administrator:-
Coaches:- Danny Robson & Murray Thompson

As a sporting, not for profit club, we also run fund raising activities such as Bunnings BBQ’s, Pauls-
Collect-a-cap, Trivia Nights and our own club competitions that we expect our members to attend
and help out with. These are also great fun and a great opportunity to get to know other members.

Sincerely,

TFC Committee Members
