Dear Diary,

Today was an unforgettable day! I have always wished to participate in a basketball match and win
in it. Fortunately, my dream came true at the district level basketball competition in SK Kepong 2.
Well, it was a great and thrilling experience. My teammates and I played in the final match. We were
playing against the opposing team and the score was a tie of 2-2.

It was almost the end of the game when the ball was passed to Alya. She wanted to score a goal but
players from the opposing team were blocking her so she decided to pass the ball to me. I scored the
winning goal and the whole school shouted and cheered happily. Although, it was a challenging
game, we felt very proud for being able to win the game. We were overwhelmed with joy and our
school coach, Mr. Lim, appreciated our effort and hard work. Today, we were all on cloud nine!

Just me,

Farah
